Between olive groves and towering cypress trees, in 1999 the Briton Keith Preston established one of the most attractive golf courses in Italy. Set in the middle of the green hills of the Tuscan Maremma, the course captivates with its impressive views.
The 18-hole par 71 course conforms to international standards and, in 2003, was named one of the top ten new golf courses. The various greens call for skill, versatility and concentration. The Championship Course is the venue for many Pro-Am and international competitions, such as the Faldo Series Italian Championship. The course is the perfect challenge for both new and experienced players.
The beautiful Tuscan landscape together with the pleasant climate, which allows the course to be used the whole year round, makes this golf course an exclusive experience. The course is not long, but requires accurate play since the many water hazards are ruthless in penalizing mistakes. The greens are characterized by multiple breaks and are extremely difficult to read. Several out-of-bounds areas and two different cuts of rough mean that a simple round is a rarity.
Some very exciting golf awaits you!
