The golf course of the Golfclub Pforzheim Karlshäuser Hof lies in the midst of a lively landscape on about 80 ha of the former Karlshausen court yard. The court itself was built around 1700 on the site of the old village of Bechingen, a predecessor settlement of Dürrn.
The 18-hole golf course, designed by Golfcourse designer Reinhold Weishaupt, is a golf course of the top class in an extraordinarily attractive location; in the Enzkreis at the edge of the Stromberg Nature Park in the middle of a landscape conservation area.
The always fair but rarely wide fairways demand a precise game. Water comes into play in varying intensity and sequence at nine holes. Although embedded in hilly landscape, the place is never difficult to walk.
In addition to the 18-hole golf course, the golf club has the largest and most advanced exercise facilities in the region with a driving range with over 20 places and a video hall, a 6-hole short course and 4 large areas for the short game in all variations.
The location has been supplemented since 2005 with golfyouup, a public 9-hole course (par 34) with a simpler design for the beginner.
