On the edge of the Limburg hills in Voerendaal, in Parkstad near Maastricht, Golf & Country Club Hoenshuis offers one of the most beautiful golf courses in the South of the Netherlands.
Architects Baron Paul Rolin and Wiel Snelder (landscape) designed a characteristic Park Course, which opened in 1987, around a centuries-old square farm. Under the supervision of renowned architect Bruno Steensels, the course has been completely renovated in recent years and has been perfected both technically and aesthetically.
Gently sloping fairways, native trees, ponds and streams, colorful flowerbeds, well-protected greens and the length of the course – 6,304m from the back tees – provide a challenging hole layout. These often ask the player for ‘course management’, as witnessed by the course’s Slope and Course Ratings. The famous and feared slot holes in front of the Clubhouse guarantee an eventful finale.
The maintenance of tees, fairways and greens is done according to high quality standards and in a vision to minimize the impact on the environment. The course is open all year round with summer greens.
The extensive practice facilities – 3 putting greens, a covered Driving Range and a 5-hole Pitch & Putt – of the Hoenshuis Golf Academy are other assets of this renowned Club.
Members and guests are welcomed in a stylish Clubhouse, with a cozy bar, restaurant and beautiful terrace ‘in the lane’.
Golf & Country Club Hoenshuis is a privileged environment for golf enthusiasts.
