The design of the Bormio golf course is the work of the architect Mario Verdieri of St. Moritz.
The inspiring principle was that of maximum respect for the original conformation of the land: meadows and pastures sloping down towards the valley, with large steps supported by characteristic dry stone walls.
The construction works gave rise to excellent fairways, spectacular greens and well-defended water obstacles aimed at reservoirs for the automatic irrigation system.
The result is a course that fully reflects the needs of the golfer: non-repetitive situations, a fair difficulty in the game, which engages the good and amuses the beginners.
The Bormio Golf is undoubtedly one of the best mountain courses in Italy: the view over the surrounding peaks is splendid, the climate ideal, always fresh and dry, the level of maintenance excellent.
The course is open from April to November, every day.
The large driving range has 15 covered posts, putting green, pitching green, practice bunker, bar / restaurant and parking. During the summer months there are openings in the evening with the whole practical area illuminated and accessible to all.
Those who want a first approach to golf can access the driving range without limitation, under the guidance of our Golf Professional Daniel who, in addition to individual lessons, also offers group courses and improvement clinics.
