The 27-hole Golf Club Thülsfelder Talsperre (1991) is set in the recreational area of Thülsfelder Talsperre near the town of Cloppenburg. The 18-hole championship course was designed by renowned golf architect Städler. The course runs through a slightly hilly landscape. It is characterized by numerous hardwoods and a variety of habitats, which add to the beauty. Generous fairways and large greens make the course enjoyable for every golfer, while beautiful water hazards and strategically placed bunkers challenge the lower handicaps. The public 9-hole golf course offers the opportunity for a quick round of golf or for a practice round to improve the short game. Golf beginners can enjoy their first golf experience here.
