Killiow Golf Club nestles in the valley at the edge of the appropriately named village of Playing Place, so called because of an area of land designated in ancient times for the performance of plays and other forms of entertainment. Originally, the seat of the Killiow (from whence the Estate gets it’s name) and then the Haweis Family, Killiow Estate near Truro, Cornwall has been in existence for the best part of 900 years.
In 1998 the estate was purchased and transformed into the superb Killiow Golf Course and Driving Range.
Only 5 minutes from the cathedral city of Truro, we can easily be reached by taking the A39 road towards Falmouth. The entrance is off to the right of the first roundabout at Playing Place, approximately 2 miles from Truro. Follow the meandering road through the woods and the golf course until you arrive at the ample car park.
The 18 hole course is set in the magnificent grounds of historic Killiow Estate and presents a challenge to golfers of all standards.
