You get your first impression of the course right from the first tee: a dogleg to the right over meadows makes many a short "tiger line drive" disappear among the Heidschnucke sheep. Precision play is required throughout the course; scattered drives quickly find their way into the dense forest, numerous bunkers, and lakes. It's certainly not an easy course; played tactically, it's an absolute must for every golfer. Add to that the beautiful heathland landscape through which the 18 completely different holes, with their manicured fairways and greens, wind. And there are 88 bunkers.
