Monk’s Island is a Nicklaus designed 7121 yard modern links championship golf course opening in 2005, which has already hosted an unprecedented 16 Championships, including 4 Royal & Ancient Championships and 4 Ryder Cup Wales LET Championships of Europe. Monk’s Island is the youngest course to be awarded an R&A championship. Monks island is a thoroughly enjoyable golf course for the high handicapper whilst being a true test of golf for the low handicap golfer from the back tees. This is achieved by utilising up to 5 teeing areas per hole providing a golf course to enjoy whatever your ability.
