Golf Club Oberberg

The course combines significant sporting challenges for top golfers with good playability for players who are just learning the sport. Although the course was built in the heart of the Oberberg region, there is hardly any elevation to overcome. This ensures easy access even for older players. The new fairways cross the wetland landscapes, which have been expanded with ponds, tall herbaceous plants, and reed beds. Other fairways descend from the heights past hay meadows, hedgerows, and newly planted heather patches. The special appeal of the game arises from the challenges created by the topography of the old cultural landscape, complemented by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountainous landscape with its deep valleys. The 6-hole short course is open to anyone who has received a brief instruction from a golf pro. The instruction takes only 45 minutes and costs a one-time fee of €20.
