Mijas Golf Club offers two high level 18 holes courses, which are totally different: Los Lagos and Los Olivos. Los Lagos is a course that has wide fairways and few forest obstacles, but that is complicated by the sand traps and the 9 lakes that give it its name, so you have to keep them in mind when you hit the ball. It is a course with few slopes, and large and flat greens. The extensive number of different tees allow a player to increase or decrease the difficulty of the course at convenience. Los Lagos is a course suitable for any type of handicap. What distinguishes Los Olivos from Los Lagos, in addition to the abundance of the trees that give it its name, is its smaller number of tees and the reduction in water obstacles, as well as smaller greens, wavy and falling.
