Het Gronings Open is bedacht om (top)amateur golfers te bedienen in hun vraag naar kampioenschappen met een kwalitatief goed deelnemersveld en professionele organisatie.

Er wordt in 3 categorieën gespeeld:

  • Cat 1 : Hcp 20.0-30.0 - Speelt stableford
  • Cat 2 : Hcp 10.0-19.9 - Speelt stableford
  • Cat 3 : Hcp +4.0 - 9.9 - Speelt Bruto Strokeplay
